Christmas Lights in San Antonio
THE SAN ANTONIO RIVER WALK LIGHT DISPLAY
Location: 849 E Commerce St San Antonio, TX 78205
Open November 29 through January 13th, see the River Walk all lit up. The fantastic light display is free and open to the public except for during special events. Boat tours are also available for a fee. Lights are on from dusk to dawn. We recommend you not miss San Antonio Riverwalk Christmas lights, as this is one of the most beautiful displays of our list of San Antonio Christmas lights.
THE ALAMO
Location: 300 Alamo Plaza San Antonio, TX 78205
The Alamo is always free- and donations always accepted! Take advantage of the extended hours during the holiday season and see the grounds adorned with lights. The Alamo closes at 8 pm through the end of December. They’re closed Christmas Day.
SAN ANTONIO ZOO
Location: 3903 N St. Mary’s St. San Antonio, TX 78212
Open November 16 and November 22 through December 31st from 12 noon to 9 pm, Zoo Lights has tons of activities, plus you get to see the animals! There is hot cocoa, festive eats, and fun activities. Zoo Lights is included in admission. You’re going to love these San Antonio Christmas lights.
TRAVIS PARK
Location: 301 E Travis St San Antonio, TX 78205
The public park has lights and a bright red Christmas tree, already lit! Check out the lights any time from dusk til dawn. Entrance is free but parking might cost you.
WINDCREST
Location: 8601 Midcrown Dr. Windcrest, TX 78239
The Annual Windcrest Light Up is a decades-old tradition where the local homeowners deck the halls and light up the neighborhood. There’s even a contest! The light up ceremony is mid-December and the display lasts through New Year’s Eve. Lights are turned on at dusk.
SEAWORLD
Location: 10500 Sea World Dr. San Antonio, TX 78251
If you’re looking for the Largest Christmas Light Display in Texas, look no further than Seaworld. Over 9 million twinkling lights in 15 different themed lands are spaced out over 250 acres. Tickets start at $45.
ELF ACRES
Location: 1475 Grosenbacher Rd. San Antonio, TX 78245
This 15 acre drive thru Christmas light venue features walkable areas, photos with Santa, funnel cakes, and more. Tickets start at $27. They’re open every night November 30 until December 29th from 6:30- 10 p.m. (11 p.m on weekends).
OLD WEST CHRISTMAS LIGHT FEST AT ENCHANTED SPRINGS RANCH
Location: 242 SH 46 West Boerne, TX 78006
What’s better than Christmas lights? Christmas lights in the Old West! The Old West Christmas Light Fest at Enchanted Springs Ranch in Boerne, TX is open Thursday through Sunday evenings until December 15th, 6-10 p.m. It’s also open every night December 19th through the 25th… that includes Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
NATURAL BRIDGE CAVERNS
Location: 26495 Natural Bridge Caverns Rd. San Antonio, TX 78266
This one-of-a-kind Christmas celebration includes Caroling in the Caverns, a hayride, The Amaze’n Reindeer Roundup, canopy zip lines, Christmas lights, and more. The Christmas Village is open to the public at no charge. Entrance fees begin at $11 and are always cheaper when you purchase in advance.

HELOTES

Beginning with the Lighting of the Lights Ceremony December 6th through January, the City of Helotes is all lit up! Check out Old Town Helotes for the prettiest lights in the city. Lights are on from dusk til dawn.
BOERNE
Location: Main Street Boerne, TX 78006
Boerne is home to several Christmas events throughout the season. Don’t miss Dickens on Main, Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair, Weinachts Parade, A Walk in Bethlehem, Christmas Market Days, and more. You can even just drive down Main Street and check out the lights for free.
