What is “You’ve Been Booed”?
One of my kids’ favorite things to do around Halloween is to “BOO” their friends. As soon as it gets dark we sneak up to their friend’s front door with a bag of treats in hand. After leaving the treats and note by the door, the kids ring the doorbell. The note left with the treats will tell the receiver that they’ve been booed and includes instructions on how to boo their friends.

Just a heads up: by asking each home to deliver two baskets of treats vs only one basket, you ensure that the chain of paying-it-forward will not be broken, and the Halloween love will continue to spread even further throughout your neighborhood!
Finally, under the cover of darkness, deliver the Boo baskets and signs to two other houses in your neighborhood that haven’t been Booed yet. Don’t let them see you! Guessing who Booed you is part of the fun!
When your Halloween Boo’ers get home make sure to have some special Halloween treats and activities together to end a fun night!
